Lin Xiaoman was once a street photographer who captured the warmth of the marketplace with her lens. Three years ago, her grandmother died in a car accident, and her world has been black and white ever since—until she met Chen Mo, a boy selling sunflowers in the old alley. This smiling boy not only helped her retrieve her grandmother’s old photos blown away by the wind but also quietly filled her empty balcony with sunflowers. But as Xiaoman gradually opens up, she discovers a secret behind Chen Mo’s smile: he’s the survivor who lost his sister in that accident, and he approached her to fulfill his sister’s last wish—to help the girl with red, teary eyes find her sunny sky again. On the day Xiaoman takes a color photo once more, Chen Mo leaves a bunch of sunflowers and disappears into the alley…
