Su Wan, a trainee nurse, deliberately approaches Dr. Jiang Shiyan, the surgeon who operated on her sister who died in a "medical accident", to investigate the truth. She pretends to be a innocent rookie to gain trust, but doesn't know that Jiang Shiyan has already seen through her and instead plays along to keep her close. As they gradually fall for each other amid "testing and pretense", a dark secret of illegal drug experiments in the hospital is hidden behind her sister's death. When the truth approaches, will they be enemies on opposite sides or lovers who can break the situation together?
