Lin Xiaoman, an overworked office worker, stays overtime until midnight on New Year's Eve. She picks up an old cloth bag with her grandma's handwritten fortune character, which activates the "New Year's Eve Dinner System"—she must complete 7 "warmth missions" to get her grandma's braised pork recipe. To finish the tasks, she endures embarrassing moments: crashing into cold neighbor Gu Chuan while snatching the last native chicken, mistaking vinegar for soy sauce when helping an elderly woman make dumplings, and almost wrecking a client's living room while babysitting. To her surprise, Gu Chuan, who's been helping her, is "Brother Chuan"—the boy who used to hide firecrackers for her as a kid! When the system disappears after the final mission, Lin realizes: the most unforgettable dinner isn't a dish—it's Gu Chuan with hot noodles saying "I'll stay," the elderly woman's pickled radish, and all the warmth she once ignored.
