Lin Wan, owner of a small-town old bookstore, has clung to the vow from a blizzard night five years ago—her lover Chen Mo promised to take her to see snow in Beijing, but vanished without a trace, leaving only half a broken jade. This year, as the blizzard returns, a man in a dark green coat walks in with the other half of the jade. He reveals he was framed to witness “Lin Wan falling off a cliff” back then, so he went undercover to investigate for years. The snow remains unchanged, and their vow was buried beneath it. Now, they must break through the ice of misunderstanding to retrieve the time frozen by the snow.
