Su Xiaomo, who guards her grandmother's jasmine tea field and insists on making handcrafted tea with ancient methods, suddenly receives a demolition notice—developers plan to build a resort, and the project leader is Gu Chuan, her childhood friend who buried a "guardian bottle" with her in the field. Gu Chuan left overnight years ago due to his father's bankruptcy and now returns to "destroy" her roots. Xiaomo's stubbornness reminds Gu Chuan of their old promise. As he uncovers his boss's plot to seize the field, they go from foes to allies. Together, they use jasmine tea's aroma to awaken villagers' memories and reclaim their lost childhood feelings.
