Lin Wan had been the Liang family's 'free nanny' for a decade—waking up at dawn to make medicine for her paralyzed father-in-law, enduring her mother-in-law's sarcasm, and even funding her stepson's overseas studies with royalties from her novels. She hid her identity as a 'literary queen' because her husband believed, 'A woman's place is at home.' Everything changed when she was diagnosed with late-stage lung cancer. As she took her tens of millions in royalties to treat herself, her stepson rushed in to snatch her bank card, yelling, 'This money belongs to my family!' Her husband even slapped her, calling her 'wasteful.' Little did they know, Lin Wan had turned all her grievances into a book, *The Diary of a Free Nanny*, set to be published. When the father and son knelt by her hospital bed begging for forgiveness, Lin Wan smiled and opened the book: 'Your selfishness deserves to be seen by the world.' Those so-called 'family members' were just parasites feeding on her—and now, it was her turn to strike back!
