In a southern Chinese village, Granny Lin's century-old secret pickled vegetable recipe is coveted by Boss Zhao, a tycoon from an outside catering group. After his high-price offer is rejected, Zhao maliciously cuts off raw material supplies and suppresses distribution channels to drive Granny Lin away. Xia, the young apprentice, gathers villagers to open a traditional pickles workshop, which goes viral quickly through short videos showing real production processes. When Zhao launches imitations to seize the market, Xia leads the villagers to compete in the national pickles contest, winning with the authentic recipe.
