Lin Xiaoman, a choreographer fired by a top dance company, picks up a Samoyed that can dance to her beats one day—even more surprisingly, the dog named A Chai turns into a sunny boy in a white shirt at night! It turns out A Chai is a guardian dog from the "Cute Dog Clan," whose mission is to help Xiaoman regain her passion for dance. From teaching her to tie dance shoes again, staying up late to revise scripts with her, to shielding her from rain and standing up to her former colleagues who made things difficult for her, A Chai uses his clumsy but sincere company to make Xiaoman pick up her dance shoes again. But when Xiaoman finally stands under the spotlight of her comeback stage, A Chai's "return date" is approaching—he must go back to the dog world after completing his mission. When Xiaoman learns the truth, she decides to choreograph a "last dance" for A Chai, but is this dance a goodbye or a new beginning?
