Ordinary office worker Chen Mo just wants to drift through his job until retirement, so he slacks off, shifts blame and messes up tasks every day, hoping to get fired and be free. But the newly appointed beauty CEO Su Wan turns out to be the poor girl he anonymously sponsored a decade ago. A casual promise he made back then, "I'll protect you someday", has now become Chen Mo's workplace nightmare. Instead of firing him as he wished, Su Wan recognizes her benefactor, promotes him out of turn and tries every way to keep him by her side. Chen Mo is completely flustered: I really want to be fired! Amidst constant workplace blunders and daily banter, a subtle romantic attraction grows between them amid the chaotic office days.
