Lin Xiaochuan is the most timid pork vendor in the vegetable market. His mother is seriously ill in bed, so he eats cold steamed buns every day to save medical fees, but he is always extorted half a pork by the gangster Wang Hu. Today, Wang Hu goes too far—robbing him of the 500 yuan life-saving money he just earned and crushing his mother's antihypertensive medicine. Xiaochuan rushes to resist, only to be pressed into the mud and beaten. Just as he thinks he's going to die, a man in an old military uniform rushes over, knocks down all the gangsters with three punches, squats down and touches his face: "Xiaochuan, Dad is back." It turns out this is Lin Zhan, the "Great Xia War God" who has been missing for three years. He faked his death and hid his identity to protect his wife and son, and now rushed back overnight after hearing his son was bullied. The next day, Wang Hu brings a dozen gangsters with steel pipes to smash the stall, only to see military trucks parked outside the market. Lin Zhan, in a war god military uniform covered with medals, holds his former command knife and shouts coldly: "To touch my son, you have to step over my dead body first." Everyone in the market is stunned—the pork seller boy who didn't even dare to speak loudly actually has a dad who can shake the entire Great Xia!
