A pink, chubby little girl suddenly crawls out of the mass grave—one cry makes ghost messengers hand her candy, old ghosts dig out their treasured toys, and even a thousand-year-old fierce ghost squats down to be her “human pillow.” She’s A Li, the fairy child who saved all the ghosts in her past life, reborn as a baby. But Shen Shiyan, a new ghost hunter, insists on coming with talismans to “exorcise evil,” only to have the little girl tug his sleeve and call him “brother,” melting his cold heart instantly. On one side, the ghosts secretly help A Li chase her “cold-faced brother” (setting up peach blossom arrays, slipping him misspelled love letters); on the other, Shen Shiyan discovers that A Li holds the memory fragments of his past life—5,000 years ago, she was the soft little fairy he risked everything to protect. When fated love meets ghostly matchmaking, this sweet and funny story of a baby chasing her man (plus ghostly “team building”) is both hilarious and heartwarming!
