Modern food blogger Su Linglong accidentally travels back to ancient times and becomes the owner of a debt-ridden tavern. She’s cornered by debt collectors the moment she wakes up, but luckily binds to a “Foodie System”—completing tasks unlocks divine recipes! To save the tavern, she pesters the down-and-out Chef King Gu Beitang to be her partner. But this “Chef King” is not only sarcastic but also loves faking illness: saying “stir-frying will hurt my waist” one minute, complaining “washing dishes hurts my hands” the next, yet secretly making her hangover soup late at night. The system tasks get crazier—making “lychee shrimp balls with bursting sauce” to attract nobles, and dealing with malicious suppression from the rival tavern… A sarcastic chef + a dramatic boss, bickering while building their business—their sweet, funny counterattack journey begins!
