To unmask the game’s mastermind, Lin Shen goes undercover as a player, only to discover every “victim” in the game corresponds to an unsolved real-world case—including the exact details of his fiancée’s death. Just as he closes in on the truth, the game starts to “backfire”: his real-life friends begin facing the same lethal dangers as the game’s characters. Now, Lin Shen must choose between abiding by the game’s twisted rules to catch the killer, or breaking them to save the people he loves.
