Lin Xiaotang, a hardworking food live-streamer saving up for her mother's surgery, accidentally rescues Gu Yan—a mysterious man being chased—while broadcasting an outdoor restaurant visit. When Gu wakes up, he shocks her with a prediction: "You'll die in a car accident in a year." Lin dismisses him as crazy—until Gu produces future news clippings, her unwritten live script, and even accurately forecasts her mother's upcoming surgery date. She finally realizes: this man is from one year in the future! Gu says he traveled back solely to change her fatal fate. But as they grow closer, Lin discovers that in Gu's "future memories," she not only dies but also shares an unfulfilled love with him. Worse, Gu's time travel triggers a butterfly effect: her death date is advancing, and the "time hunters" chasing Gu have also crossed over... How can she save herself while clinging to this love that transcends time?
