Florist Su Wan has been waiting for her missing boyfriend Lin Shen for three years in her old-lane shop "Tumi Cottage" — he once said he’d go find "the Tumi that blooms till late autumn" but never returned. One day, a boy holding a withered Tumi comes to her, handing over Lin Shen’s diary: It turns out Lin Shen was diagnosed with leukemia back then. Afraid of burdening Su Wan, he hid on the hospital rooftop growing Tumi, writing an unsent letter for each bloom. When Su Wan rushes to the hospital, the Tumi on the rooftop has just faded. Lin Shen, holding the last dried flower, closes his eyes forever. What Su Wan doesn’t know is that the boy is a sick child Lin Shen sponsored, and the withered Tumi is the last season Lin Shen fought to keep alive with his life.
