That night, she falls into a vivid surreal dream, traveling back to a 1920s Jiangnan opera troupe, where she watches veteran performers swing their silk sleeves and sing the passionate tale of *The Peony Pavilion*. Waking up with a total change of heart, Lin Zhi incorporates the costume's winding lotus patterns into modern streetwear designs. She even follows clues from her dream to track down her grandfather's old Kunqu friend, breathing fresh life into the dusty ancient art form.
