Su Wan, an 18th-tier stunt double, takes on the role of top celebrity Gu Jingshen’s “contract girlfriend” to save her critically ill mother—helping him deal with his grandfather’s marriage pressure. When Grandpa suddenly presses, “When are you getting married?,” Gu blushes and grabs her wrist: “We’ve faked it for a month—why not… try the real thing?” What Su doesn’t know is that Gu has remembered her since three years ago—when he was a struggling intern director, and she handed him a hot milk tea, saying “Keep going.”
