Shen Ye, the unfavored Seventh Prince, became a "discarded piece" in the palace after his mother died wrongfully. He was sent to marry Ye Zhao, the "husband-killing princess" of the蛮荒 land—everyone waited to see his downfall, but little did they know this was their revenge plan: Ye Zhao wanted to avenge her family's massacre by the royal family, and Shen Ye wanted to take back what he deserved. Bound by a contract, they pretended to be fools to infiltrate the court, exposed the queen's fake pregnancy and the crown prince's treason, and retaliated against those who once trampled on them one by one. But when the knife of revenge approaches each other's bottom line, and when the fake act gradually turns into real feelings, is this royal game about the abandoned rising to power, or mutual redemption?
