In 2026, three years after the failure of the "Memory Reset Experiment", survivor Lin Xiaoman suddenly develops "reverse-time aftereffects"—she randomly travels back to the day seven years ago when she broke up with her boyfriend Gu Chuan. But Gu Chuan had long died in an experiment accident, and each regression erodes her present: colleagues act like strangers, her home is occupied by a stranger, and even her ID card vanishes. To her horror, she uncovers that Gu Chuan’s death was faked—the experiment hides a "time theft" conspiracy, and the mastermind is erasing all survivors. Lin Xiaoman must stop the past from being altered and uncover her boyfriend’s true cause of death before she "ceases to exist". But when she finally nears the truth, she faces the cruellest choice: stay in the past to restart with Gu Chuan, or sacrifice everything to reclaim her real present?
