The wealthy Lu family abandoned their newborn son in the mountains after a fortune teller claimed he would "harm his father." Zhou Guixiang, a widowed rural woman struggling to feed herself, found the baby and raised him with rice soup and wild vegetables—even though she couldn't afford a meal, she saved her only eggs for the child. Unexpectedly, the child became a "lucky star": their barren field yielded a thousand pounds of watermelons, unsold honey was bought out by an e-commerce boss, and her missing husband returned with compensation after five years. Ten years later, the once "disaster star" Xiaoyu was admitted to Tsinghua University and helped Zhou Guixiang turn their small oil press into a national agricultural chain. When the Lu family realized the "disaster star" was their only hope to break the family's decline, they came to claim him—but Xiaoyu held Zhou Guixiang's hand and said, "My mom has always been you."
