Marine biologist Su Wan gets caught in a super typhoon during her ocean research voyage, drifts for days separated from her team, and finally washes up on a deserted island. When she wakes up, she finds a strange man Lin Shen with scars all over his body and a wary look beside her. Starting from mutual suspicion and tentative tests, they have to team up to survive the scorching sun, heavy rain and scarce supplies. Su Wan gradually discovers that Lin Shen hides clues about a serial missing persons case at sea, while her confidential research data involves a cross-border smuggling plot. The tiny desert island turns into a deadly game arena, with their trust and bottom line of survival constantly challenged.
