Lin Chuan, a young TCM doctor mocked as a "slacker" in a township clinic, accidentally binds to the "National Medical Heritage System." His acupuncture cures a paralyzed elder, his herbal meals fix a tycoon's insomnia, and his bone-setting saves a car accident victim—making him an instant star in the county hospital. But when he's headhunted by a Beijing top hospital, he runs into Su Xiaoqing, a cold and proud surgical goddess who despises "folk TCM." Yet she's repeatedly humbled by Lin Chuan's "rustic methods": cupping relieves her post-op back pain, and yam-lily congee cures her grandma's diabetic foot. While the system pushes him to "unlock the National Medical Sage achievement," Su Xiaoqing goes from "snarky taunts" to "secretly saving him hot meals." Why is Lin Chuan's counterattack path getting sweeter and sweeter?
