Lin Xiaoman, an urban office worker, ventures into the "no-return" Ghost Village to find her missing archaeologist father. On her first night, she encounters A Zhao, a boy in a blue cotton shirt, burning paper for a paper figure. The循环ed nursery rhyme at midnight terrifies her into hiding in the woodshed—but when she tries to escape, the old locust tree at the village entrance "moves" and rolls her luggage back. As she investigates, she finds her father’s notebook has a jade pendant identical to A Zhao’s, and the missing villagers are trapped in a "mirror world"; even more absurdly, A Zhao says she’s the "spirit child" who escaped 500 years ago, and they need to solve the curse on the village together... Suspense mixed with sweetness, oddities hiding affection—watch the office worker break through the "man-eating village", and even pick up an ancient boy as her boyfriend!
