Modern social-anxious Lin Xiaoxia and her sharp-tongued bestie Zhang Shuang, known as the online-famous "silly bestie duo", accidentally get drawn into a novel plot while binge-reading a popular reincarnation web novel—only to be reborn as two koi fish beside the novel's top boss! The original koi was meant to be the boss's "pressure relief asset" with a carefree life, but a reincarnation glitch traps them in fish bodies, unable to return to human form. Witnessing novel characters about to fall into a tragic pit, they have to stir the plot from a koi's perspective: teasing each other while secretly helping the boss reverse the ending. Amidst bickers, their once "silly" friendship deepens, and they even find clues to return to reality.
