Su Man returns to her grandma's old dorm in Guancheng to sort her belongings, and accidentally finds a stack of unsent old letters in an old camphor chest. The sender is Chen Aming, a night watchman at the toy factory her grandma used to work at. As details of the factory's restructuring mentioned in the letters are unearthed, a hidden love story from the 1960s, torn apart by class differences, comes to light: her grandma gave up the chance to return to the city to stay with Aming, who died saving the factory's old blueprints in a fire. How will Su Man help fulfill her grandma's half-century-old regret?
