42-year-old Lin Wanyin has lived alone for a decade, haunted by the “stillbirth” from her contractual marriage. One day, she receives a video labeled “Grandson in 2045”—a teenager holds her jade necklace and pleads through tears, “Don’t give up on Mom.” Following the clues, she uncovers the “stillbirth” was secretly adopted by her mother-in-law, masterminded by her ex-husband to seize family assets. Using future details to expose the scheme and search for her son, she finally stands at the welfare institution with a DNA report—only to find the teenager from the video waiting there, identical to her 22-year-old son.
