Su Wan, a landscape designer framed for plagiarism at work, takes on an eco-revitalization project in Kongshan Village to clear her name—only to clash with Lin Shen, a "traditionalist" homestay owner who slams a yellowed village record on the table, claiming her "modern plan" will destroy Kongshan's soul. From fierce arguments to poring over old texts in the ancient ancestral hall, they discover their Ming-dynasty ancestors had already built an eco-system using bamboo pipes and stacked-stone filtration. Su Wan revises her plan to blend modern tech with ancient wisdom, while Lin Shen's secret emerges: he was the anonymous judge who admired her talent years ago, returning to Kongshan just to help her rediscover her original heart. When her former company tries to steal the copyright as the project nears success, Lin Shen produces her old manuscripts to prove her innocence. On a rainy morning after the storm, Su Wan touches the ancestral hall's blue tiles and smiles: "You weren't here to stop me—you were here to help me find my original heart." Lin Shen hands her an oil-paper umbrella: "More than that—I was here to find you."
