Lin Chuan, a "transparent" college student mocked for his sci-fi writing, is thrown into chaos when a meteor apocalypse warning sends the campus into a panic. To his shock, Su Wantang—the unapproachable campus belle—shows up at his dorm with red eyes, clutching all his unpublished manuscripts from three years: "I read every word. You said to find someone 'with stars in their eyes' for the end of the world... I want to be that person." It turns out Su has secretly liked him since he helped an elderly man pick up books, saving all his social media posts and even staying up late to study astronomy just to understand his sci-fi world. As they hold each other waiting for the "apocalypse," a professor calls: the warning was a simulation. But Lin Chuan looks at Su in his arms and realizes—even if the apocalypse were real, being with her would be the sweetest "escape ending" of all.
