Up-and-coming designer Meng Na falls into a career abyss due to her best friend's plagiarism and framing, even losing her place to live. When she's desperate, she meets Wang Yiran, a "poor guy" eating instant noodles outside a convenience store—he lends her his sofa, stays up with her to revise designs, and they grow close as they support each other through hard times. But when Meng Na makes a comeback as a design star with her competition entry, she discovers Wang Yiran is actually the CEO of Jiangshan Group, the industry leader! It turns out he'd long noticed her buried talent, and purposely disguised himself to help her get out of trouble—and to chase the shining her. Only then does Meng Na realize: the so-called "trapped in love" is a gentle trap he set long ago, waiting for her to step into his world step by step.
