Su Xiaoyu, a full-time housewife, grows suspicious of her husband Lin Chuan—he’s always grinning at his phone lately, and she fears he’s having an affair. To test him, she creates a fake account named "Xia Xiaotang" and adds Lin Chuan as a friend, pretending to be a stranger. One day, the internet cuts out at home, and Lin Chuan panics, scrambling to find "Xia Xiaotang" on his phone. When Su Xiaoyu leans over to look, she’s shocked: the "mistress" chat history is filled with Lin Chuan venting about overtime fatigue, saying "Xiaoyu’s tomato and egg noodles cure everything," and a transfer record he’s saved for half a year to buy her an anniversary necklace. It turns out he knew "Xia Xiaotang" was her all along—he’d been confiding secretly this way, afraid that telling her directly would make her worry. Su Xiaoyu hugs the phone, crying and laughing, realizing the sweetest secret is the tenderness he hid in that "fake identity."
