Su Xiaoman, a modern food blogger, transmigrates into a spurned concubine's daughter of the Chu Prime Minister's family in ancient times. She accidentally awakens the ability to 'taste emotions'—perceiving the feelings of food makers through their dishes. To survive, she opens a small restaurant called 'Xiaoman's Eats' in the capital. A bowl of healing congee unexpectedly catches the eye of Xiao Jingyan, the Prince of Jin, who is incognito investigating corruption. Xiao deliberately clings to her as a 'regular customer' to leverage her ability to unearth the mastermind, but during their repeated trials together, his cold heart softens to her optimism and warmth. Su Xiaoman also goes from wariness to deep love for this seemingly scheming yet truly devoted prince. However, as they grow closer, Su discovers her transmigration is closely tied to the unsolved truth behind the death of Xiao's mother years ago...
