The "Sweet Garden" sugar water shop in an old Hong Kong alley is Lin Wan's whole world—it's the last wish her grandma made while holding her hand: "Keep it sweet forever." To save the shop, she delivers takeout on an electric bike by day and boils sugar water over a coal stove by night, only to run into Jiang Jingchuan, a newly returned financial tycoon from New York who wants to demolish the alley for a high-end complex. From being bitter enemies over the shop to Jiang being unexpectedly moved by her ginger milk and helping her promote traditional crafts via social media, they discover that ten years ago, Lin gave a stray little Jiang a warm bowl of drink on a rainy night. When cold business collides with the sweetness of old memories, and the desperate "sugar water heroine" meets the tycoon seeking warmth, will this Hong Kong night's battle turn into a tender promise: "I'll keep the shop, you keep me"?
