Su Xiaoxiao, a hidden divine chef, leaves the mountain to save her critically ill master and accidentally becomes a scullery maid in the imperial kitchen. Her "Peony Tofu" catches the eye of the cold emperor Xiao Jingyan—who is investigating a palace poison case and intends to use her culinary skills to lure out the traitor. From mutual suspicion to tacit partnership, Su uses "Osmanthus Nectar" to cure the Empress Dowager's cold poison, "Jade Noodles" to expose the enemy's poison plot, and even a pot of "Beacon Lamb Soup" to persuade enemy generals to surrender. Meanwhile, Xiao secretly reserves the finest ingredients for her and shields her from danger, falling in love quietly. But just as they confess their feelings, Su uncovers a shocking truth: her master's illness is linked to the Xiao family's usurpation of the throne years ago! Caught between revenge and love, where will her divine chef's knife strike this time?
