Su Xiaohe, a returning agronomy PhD entrepreneur, leads her team to promote self-developed high-yield, stress-resistant rice seeds in the suburban Xinhe Village. She immediately clashes with Gu Jiangchuan, a CEO famous for his "commercial iron fist," who is about to demolish the farmland for a high-end business district. From a tit-for-tat "land defense battle" to an unexpected "interest alliance": Gu discovers Xiaohe's rice seeds can activate the eco-cultural tourism industry chain, while Xiaohe uncovers the secret behind his cold exterior—he grew up in the countryside, and his mother's old rice seeds disappeared due to urbanization; he wanted to "recover his memories" through the development project. When the new shoots suddenly suffer from pests and diseases, and group shareholders threaten to withdraw investment, will they part ways for their respective "obsessions," or use love and original intention to turn "demolishing farmland" into a win-win of "guarding farmland"?
