Lin Chuan, a repeat student, pretends to join the pilot selection to impress his crush Su Wan—whose late brother was a fallen pilot, and she hopes her partner can fulfill his brother’s last wish. Unexpectedly, he reveals extraordinary talent and gets recruited into an ace unit. When Su Wan is about to break up with him for “abandoning his studies,” Lin Chuan shows up in a military uniform with his brother’s former aircraft number—he not only survived the魔鬼 training to become an ace but also turned her regret into their shared faith. From a “transparent repeat student” to a “guardian of the sky,” the sweetness hides the thrill of counterattack, and the twist holds the unspoken words: “For you, I became the light.”
