When he's at his lowest, Su Xiaoman, a self-proclaimed "bankruptcy manager" and the学妹 he once admired secretly in college, shows up with a promise to "turn things around." Pretending to be "bankruptcy partners" to fend off creditors, they hunt for evidence to clear his name. Amidst the chaos, their past regrets turn into sweet interactions: Su forces him to learn cooking tomato and egg noodles, while Lin helps her navigate her "marriage pressure crisis." It turns out the "bankruptcy" is a trap set by his rivals—and Su has held the key clue all along. When the truth comes to light, Lin realizes this "downfall" is the new chapter she's opened for him, and for their love.
