Lin Wan, a down-and-out holographic game restorer, breaks into the Northern Expedition dungeon of *Beacon Fires*—a game she designed—to secure a life-saving item for her critically ill brother. Her mission? Win over Gu Zhao, the "bloodthirsty general." But to her shock, Gu Zhao in the dungeon is a loyal man framed by traitors, who not only feels an instant bond with her but also knows the "little crescent birthmark" secret only her missing childhood sweetheart would. The truth: this "game world" is a parallel universe she opened with her memories of Gu Zhao, and he’s been waiting for her here for ten years. Torn between her brother’s ticking life and Gu Zhao’s silent vigil outside her tent every night, Lin Wan faces an impossible choice. Just as she’s ready to say goodbye, Gu Zhao pulls out a key to the real world and smiles: "This time, I’m coming to your world."
