Qiao Yan's father, an old craftsman dedicated to hand-made prayer beads, is suddenly arrested for "intentional homicide"—surveillance footage, murder weapon, and witnesses form an unbreakable chain of evidence. Only Qiao Yan remembers: her father was staying up late carving her birthday bead that night—the half-finished bead with her name engraved is still locked in his studio drawer. To clear her father's name, she gives up her study abroad spot and goes undercover as a cleaner in "Yanshen Group," which is suspected of framing him. There, she stumbles upon CEO Gu Yanshen investigating the group's internal smuggling ring—and her father's beads are the "code carrier" the smugglers use to mark goods. Caught between the countdown to save her father and Gu Yanshen's ambiguous entanglement (he says, "I owe you an explanation for your father's case"), can Qiao Yan, clutching the half-bead, tear through the fog of truth in the vortex of desire and conspiracy?
