Su Wanning, a healer in the plague-ridden village of Nanchuan, clings to the last净土 untouched by war—only to rescue Gu Zhao, a gravely wounded general from the Northern Border. Unbeknownst to her, Gu is the “sword” sent by the court to “wipe out” the epidemic zone. Standing on opposite sides, they hide their secrets (Gu is actually smuggling vaccines; Su harbors trauma from her parents’ death in the war) while falling for each other under the lonely moon. When enemy raids and a plague outbreak strike together, how will they carve a path between “guarding their beliefs” and “embracing their love” amid the flaming wars?
