In an old waiting room of a Northeast Chinese town, Li Erya, a straightforward and hearty girl, runs a struggling canteen on the brink of closure. One day, she bumps into a strange old man with a bronze pocket watch—who turns out to be an immortal who has traveled through a thousand years, and he forcefully binds her to the "Waiting Room System"! From then on, Erya gains extraordinary powers: she can hear passengers' true thoughts, turn expired snacks into healing spiritual fruits, and even the stray dog at the door becomes a "house-protecting divine beast". But troubles follow: Gu Bei, a top archaeology student, is dead set on taking the pocket watch to uncover its secrets; the neighboring supermarket owner keeps sabotaging her; even "travelers from the future" come begging her to change their fates... The small waiting room holds a vast world. Erya uses her Northeast-style humor to fend off all kinds of troubles, while her relationship with Gu Bei shifts from bickering to sweet affection. She even transforms the fading waiting room into a "present-day peach blossom land"—it turns out the most amazing counterattack is turning ordinary days into a legend!
