Chen Mo, a legendary angler who retired from fishing competitions after an accident ten years ago, now lives incognito as a boat repairman in a small fishing village. When the national fishing tournament comes to his hometown, his old rival returns with a commercial conspiracy. Encouraged by Zi, the fisherwoman he's secretly loved for years, and his quirky young apprentice, Chen must pick up his fishing rod again. Using traditional bamboo fishing gear against high-tech opponents, the tension on the fishing line isn't just about winning back glory - it's about protecting the waters that raised him.
