Florist Su Xiaoman clings to her mother’s flower shop "Hua Xin", determined to grow the "Moonlight Lily" her mother never finished, but faces eviction due to unpaid rent. Lin Shen, an architect with severe pollen allergy, stumbles in to buy a birthday flower for his grandma. While struggling to hold back sneezes, he’s mistaken by Xiaoman as a "flower lover" and dragged to care for the lily together. Watching Xiaoman’s eyes light up for the flower, Lin Shen hides his allergy meds and stays up late with her to wait for the buds. On the early morning when the Moonlight Lily is finally about to bloom, Lin Shen collapses from overexposure to pollen — Xiaoman finds his desensitization needles in his pocket and realizes: he was never "into flowers"; he was just willing to use all his courage to wait with her for "their bloom".
