Bar owner Jiang Cai has to live with Su Jinghe, a "stick-in-the-mud" guarding a TCM shop, to reclaim her grandfather's ancestral home. She loves mixing Jagermeister with everything to let loose, while he insists on boiling angelica to slow down time; she wants to turn the house into a trendy bar, but he clings to the medicine cabinet. From daily bickering to late-night confessions—Jiang Cai hides the pain of being abandoned by her parents, and Su Jinghe carries his grandfather's dying wish to "protect the shop." When Jagermeister's boldness meets angelica's warmth, two vastly different souls forge the sweetest bond under the old locust tree of the ancestral home.
