Lu Ming, a mountain forager, brings back a frozen amnesiac girl named Xiaoman during a snowstorm that blocks the mountain path. What starts as a random act of kindness turns life-saving when Xiaoman accurately predicts the exact time and direction of an avalanche that night, saving Lu Ming and his family who stayed in the mountains. Lu Ming thinks Xiaoman is just lucky, but little does he know Xiaoman is no ordinary human: she is a little carp selected by ancient mountain spirits, who wandered into the mortal world and lost all her memories. Lu Ming went into the mountains to find herbs for his sick grandmother, but accidentally got involved in the secrets of the mountain spirit realm. The mystery of Xiaoman's life experience and their sweet bond slowly unfold amid mountain crises.
