Ji Zhao, a modern investigative journalist, accidentally travels to the Republic of China era and becomes the sole survivor of a celestial master family. Inheriting the title "Master Ji" also means shouldering the blood feud of her family's massacre. To uncover the truth, she uses modern live-streaming to launch a "ghost hunting and case-solving" channel, solving urban supernatural cases like campus ghosts and haunted old house vengeances with a mix of science and metaphysics—only to face netizens' doubts of "faking the paranormal". As she digs deeper, she discovers all supernatural events lead to the mastermind behind her family's massacre: a mysterious organization manipulating both the mortal and spirit worlds. Worse, Lu Ming, a detective who suspects her of "using the paranormal to cheat traffic", is hot on her trail. From bickering to cooperation, they stumble into greater danger: the mastermind wants to use her celestial master bloodline to open the gate between yin and yang... When the live stream camera points to the truth, can Ji Zhao uncover her family's secret and protect the mortal world's order?
