Lin Wan, a modern workplace queen, travels through time and becomes Ah Zhu, the infamous maid of the Hou Mansion—her original self is about to be beaten to death with sticks for taking the blame for Shen Tang, the white-lotus legitimate young lady. Looking at the hypocritical Shen Tang and her scumbag fiancé Gu Shao, Lin Wan sneers: Since the script labels her an "evil maid", she’ll embrace the "badness" unapologetically! She exposes Shen Tang’s fake compassion, reveals Gu Shao’s cheating scandal, uses modern marketing techniques to revive the Hou Mansion’s struggling tea business, and turns the tables on her persecutors. To her surprise, Lu Shiyan, the cold-faced second young master of the Hou Mansion, is drawn to her "badness". They go from confrontational to fighting side by side. When the "evil maid" is no longer at others' mercy and takes control of the villain script, Lin Wan not only gets revenge on the scumbags but also becomes the master of her own destiny!
