In the late 1980s, Lin Wan, a soldier's wife, was labeled a 'husband-crippling disaster' by her mother-in-law due to her husband Gu Tingshen's misunderstanding—washing clothes in cold winter water, being pushed into a wall and losing her baby during pregnancy, and even falsely accused of theft and nearly drowned. When Gu Tingshen returned from the army, he uncovered his sister's frame-up, only to find that his once vulnerable wife had become the most stylish '10,000-yuan household' on the street with her sewing skills. Facing her ex-husband's pursuit, Lin Wan said, 'You didn't cherish me then; now you can't reach me.' But Gu Tingshen is determined to break through this 'frost wall'—how will he warm her cold heart?
