Lin Xiaoman, a solo female screenwriter, has recently been haunted by eerie midnight sounds—she hears urgent knocks but finds no one at the door; wrong keyboard taps while writing turn out to be the computer typing "Save me" on its own; even more chilling, the fictional "red-cloaked avenger" from her script actually appears at the alley entrance downstairs.
