Li Shulan, a pancake seller, has been searching for her son for twenty years—from the countryside to the city, scammed out of her savings, kicked out by landlords, yet never giving up. One day, she stumbles into the press conference of "Jingshen Group," a business empire, and finds that the CEO Gu Jingshen is wearing the longevity lock she gave her son as a baby! But Gu Jingshen hates the word "mother"—he was abducted by human traffickers as a child and thought his mother "abandoned" him. When Li Shulan takes out her crumpled missing person poster, when Gu Jingshen sees the old kindergarten photo, the truth hidden for twenty years unfolds: someone forged an "abandonment letter," someone tried to steal his inheritance... And when the neighbors who once mocked Li Shulan for "being poor and looking for a son," the urban management officers who bullied her, even the rivals who wanted to bring Gu Jingshen down, witness the mother and son reunite, all contempt and schemes turn into the loudest slaps in the face!
