Modern koi girl Lin Xiaoman won the lottery jackpot three times in a row, but slipped and traveled to the ancient Yunque Kingdom on the day of collecting her prize, landing right on Xie Zhao—the city's most famous "unlucky guy" who gets hit by bird poop every time he goes out, failed the imperial exam three times, and even chokes on cold water. Amazingly, Lin Xiaoman's good luck can neutralize Xie Zhao's misfortune: he passes the exam as the third-place scholar for the first time, avoids bird poop on his way out, and even has his overdue rent repaid voluntarily! But as their relationship deepens, Lin Xiaoman discovers that Xie Zhao's "bad luck" is no accident—he's the orphan of the deposed crown prince, cursed with a "misfortune spell" after a palace bloodbath years ago! And her time travel is exactly the key to breaking the curse? When the lucky koi meets the cursed unlucky guy, is this fate's redemption... or a bigger conspiracy lying ahead?
